the writer’s block vs. the vomit mouth

i created this blank space
within which we could fight
turning the night over with our words
and lamenting lessons not learned
more than a decade or so ago
under the cover of emotional detachments
and poems written and then
stuck to refrigerators for all to see
we expose ourselves to scrutiny
in order to learn just how human
we are, judgments reserved until
the day we die, who’s epitaph
will read- “at least now
he will shut the fuck up.”
